     A prehistorical enclosure, an antique and merovigian necropolis, then an Carolingian occupation, we offer to the visitor an overview over 7.000 years until the railway viaduct.

Conference "Découvertes paléontologiques du Crétacé et du Jurassique aux portes de Poitiers" by Xavier Valentin

Visitors will discover Jurassic and Cretaceous period on the High Speed Line thanks to the estuarine crocodile (160 million years ago) and velociraptor's feathers (75 millions years ago).

The fifty sites excavated on the High Speed Line between Tours and Bordeaux will give you an overview of our historical heritage, from 200 millions of years until the 20th century.

Conference "Pussigny-Le-Vigneau, histoire d'un lieu sacré sur plusieurs millénaires" by Anne HAUZEUR

           At 11.00AM

Occupated for the middle of Neolithic period from 4,700 BC until the Middle Ages, the site of Vigneau at Pussigny (county 37) reveals a remarkable occupation of sacred vocation, combining funeral spaces and sanctuaries over 5,000 years.

Conference "La nécropole de Pussigny-Le-Vigneau, cimetière d'une communauté de pasteurs au Néolithique"

The discovering of an exceptional necropolis more 100 burial sites of the middle Neolithic period enables to understand the social organisation of this very old group of pastoralists sheep farmers.

Conference "De la Préhistoire à l'époque moderne sur les sites de Monts Petit Nétilly et Sorigny Nétilley"

           At 3.30PM

Situated at 500 metres each other, Monts Petit Nétilly and Sorigny sites are complimentary. They were occupied from Prehistory until modern times. Through their spatial organisation but also by the study fo the different archaeological material found in these sites, come to discover the different occupations who have succeeded over time on only a few hectares.
